Story and environment Planning
Setting will be within a
forest with grass terrain and a hill leading to a shed.
There will be rain alongside
particle effects and lightning music may also play with this.
The story will use
descriptive language to describe the atmosphere and environment also the characters’
impressions and emotions as they first step foot into this area.
As I set foot into an area
deep inside the forest my clothes where drenched as I looked up into the dark
sky, the feeling of rain falling onto my face, and the soft crackle of faraway
lighting, from deep within a melancholic feeling arose, it was comforting but
sad, almost like a part of me had departed long ago, this harmony brought
insight to the fact I feel comfortable and safe amongst the sounds but
completely alone as I close my eyes as if the only one around.
This feeling was almost like
I was the only human in the entire universe as I reminisce on old forgotten
memories of the past, the precious encounters, my friends, my enemies, companions
and family all led to this, this single moment when all is gone here my final
decision awaits, this could very well be the beginning or the end, as I now
have to make the choice to leave everything behind.
As I stopped walking I took a moment to take in the purity of the silence, giving me a chance to reflect and reminisce as I stood amongst the rain that danced with the wind, and the dark sky that was lit with light from the soft crackling roars of thunder.
This atmosphere surprisingly
brought me peace.
As I approached I looked towards the top of the hill, there was a singular shed, it looked worn and run down but the weirdest thing was why was it located here, after thinking about why, a bunch of question arose bringing my fears to the surface as my body shook to the sound of sudden thunder, for some horrid reason the first thought that came to mind was this is a great place for a murderer to reside.
While thinking this I only
just noticed how eerie and unsettling the sound of absolute silence was amongst
the rain and potent faraway thunder, especially whilst it was getting darker.
The dark atmosphere made me
wonder the possible where bouts of the owner of the shed and what he could be
up to, this further frightened me as no one would hear me scream or even know
I’m in danger because of how vast and desolate the forest was.
After a long time, I decided
to ignore my cunning and deceiving imagination “there’s no way I can turn
back now!”.
I was stunned how many weeks have I been living in this area of the forest, not once had I noticed a hill.
After recovering from the
shock my gaze turned upwards as a shed could be seen at the very top “since
when!”
As far as I could remember
the grounds around the forest where flat, and I was clearly astonished by the
fact of this sudden appearance.
I was only out to collect
wood for the fire, never would I have imagined this random encounter with a
mysterious shed atop of a hill.
It was all quite sinister
really the sound of thunder crashing down from the sky and rain pouring from
the dark clouds above “thank god I live inside”.
Forgetting the sight of things,
I close my eyes and just listen to the light sound of rain with a hint of faraway
thunder “for some reason this takes me way back” Déjà vu of falling asleep to
such sound re-emerges, feeling tired I head back to my cabin looking forward to
putting on the fire and the sensation of its warmth as a cosy feeling would
envelope me, id listen to the rain and the illusion of being the only being left
alive would disappear into the night.
