One of the forms of animation we did was DragonFrame which is essentialy stopmotion durning lesson we had to animate a yellow building block moving across the screen just as the first basic excersize.
To do this we had to set up the cameras and the settings connect it and open DragonFrame after this we started as the block is put out of frame then we very slowly move it across taking the shot on each frame until it leaves the screen.
After doing this a few times in different ways me and my friend decided to experiment using the mannequin creating an animation of it waving it arms.
This style of animation has been im movies like Kubo and Shaun the sheep.
